Job summary

CVS Health is offering a Graduate Pharmacy Intern program designed to translate didactic learning into real-world practice within a pharmacy team. You’ll complete a 120-day training roadmap under a pharmacist preceptor and district leader to deepen understanding of patient safety, DUR, and SOPs.

As you progress, you’ll support operations in the store, assist with immunizations where allowed by state law, and grow toward Pharmacist responsibilities.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
• Complete required training within designated timeframe
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely and accurately
• Maintain patient safety and privacy in all tasks
• Counsel, field medical questions, and collect patient history when appropriate
• Support immunizations and point-of-care testing where allowed by law and training
