Job summary

CVS Health in Oklahoma welcomes a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic knowledge to real-world practice under supervision. You will complete a comprehensive training roadmap within 120 days, support pharmacy operations, and learn patient safety and medication safety standards.

You will assist with immunizations, counseling, and necessary duties while developing skills for a Pharmacist role and advancing toward increased responsibility in a caring, compliant team environment.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate from a U.S. accredited program before starting the Post-Graduate Training Program.
• Must obtain pharmacist licensure within 120 days of graduation.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining intern/technician licensure.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure operations run smoothly and prescriptions are filled safely and accurately.
• Demonstrate empathy and genuine care in customer interactions and support immunizations where allowed.
• Counsel patients, collect medical history information, and respond to questions under supervision.
• Follow SOPs, maintain compliance with laws, and participate in training and coaching.
