Job summary

Lahey Clinic in Burlington, MA is seeking a Graduate Resident Nurse for our 7 Central unit. This entry-level role supports patient care under supervision while in the Nurse Residency Program, with a year-long structured onboarding and ongoing professional development.

The position offers flexible 4-week rotating schedules (day/night), weekend/holiday rotation, and a strong culture of teamwork, safety, and compassionate care focused on orthopedic, neurosurgical and trauma patients.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a state approved and/or accredited School of Nursing.
• BSN preferred.
• Current license to practice professional nursing from the Massachusetts Board of Registration; NCLEX registration documentation when eligible.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision.
• Demonstrate safe delivery of quality care for assigned patients/families.
• Develops a culturally competent plan of care addressing patient problems and outcomes.
• Perform systematic patient and family assessments.
• Deliver care appropriate to the patient’s age.
• Maintain professional behavior and adhere to unit policies.
