El Paso Behavioral Health System is seeking a Graduate Nurse (GN) to coordinate and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the health team, following the nursing process and Texas Board of Nursing standards. Graduates from an accredited nursing program are encouraged to apply.

A temporary graduate permit is allowed and RN licensure is required within 6 months of hire. You must pass a medication administration exam and have CPR certification.

Position Summary

The Graduate Nurse (GN) is a graduate professional nurse who coordinates and evaluates patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care according to Texas Board of Nursing.

Education

Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Experience

A minimum of one (1) nursing experience preferred.

Licensure

A graduate permit is allowed on a temporary basis and an RN license is required upon graduate permit expiration or within 6 months of hire.

Additional Requirements

Must pass a medication administration exam before administering medications. Must have current CPR certification upon hire. Successful completion of Handle With Care to include physical hold and verbal de-escalation during orientation.
