Job summary

TD Bank is seeking a Senior Analytics Lead to drive data-driven initiatives in commercial banking. You will oversee cross-functional programs, manage risk and resources, and guide end-to-end processes from idea to implementation.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Graduate Degree in related field
• 5+ years of related experience
• Demonstrated leadership experience
• History of delivering strong results
• High aspirations and motivation for career progression to senior leadership roles
• Understanding of financial services
• Strong interest in applying artificial intelligence to Commercial Banking
• Foundational experience working with large and complex datasets
• Experience with data preparation, analysis, validation, pattern detection, issue identification, and insight generation
• Experience using Excel, Alteryx, Power BI, Power Apps, Python, SQL, or related analytics and automation platforms
• Strong communication, documentation, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to explain AI-enabled solutions clearly
• Ability to operate within data governance, privacy, security, model risk, and control expectations
• Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks
• Ability to work 40 hours
• Occasional domestic travel availability

Responsibilities

• Solve complex problems requiring analysis of multiple variables and consultation with multiple stakeholders
• Lead projects with moderate to complex risk and resource requirements
• Lead end-to-end processes or functional programs
• Build stakeholder alignment and provide process and subject matter advice
• Apply best practices to implement process, product, or service improvements
• Act as a subject matter expert and contribute to setting standards
• Use advanced methods to develop new solutions and recommend operating standards
• Complete business objectives established with leadership at the start of the program
• Develop detailed, accurate, and timely research and reporting with insightful commentary
• Conduct internal and external research projects and support presentations and communications
• Perform functional and organizational analysis, draw conclusions, make recommendations, and assess program effectiveness
• Identify and implement process improvements to automate and streamline analysis and decisions
• Represent the business in cross-functional and cross-product working groups, projects, and forums
• Work with business partners on strategic initiatives
• Liaise between internal stakeholders and external advisors
• Manage and prioritize multiple projects with discretion and confidentiality
• Advise senior management and influence decisions
• Address escalated customer or client inquiries when required
• Manage risks, compliance, governance, controls, and remediation plans
• Monitor service, productivity, and efficiency and implement continuous improvements
• Maintain relationships across business lines, corporate functions, and control functions
• Keep abreast of emerging issues, trends, and regulatory developments
• Participate as a subject matter expert in enterprise initiatives
• Support a positive, innovative, equitable, and collaborative team environment
• Provide thought leadership and transfer knowledge
• Participate in performance management, development, and cross-training
• Mentor others and contribute to team capability development
• Act as a brand ambassador for TD and the business area
