Job summary

Kaiser Permanente in Santa Rosa is seeking a Graduate Intern Pharmacist to dispense, compound, procure, store and distribute pharmacy products under the direct supervision of a licensed Pharmacist. You will consult with patients and medical personnel regarding medication therapy and provide pharmaceutical care for hospitalized or ambulatory patients as assigned.

You must hold a Pharmacy degree from an ACPE-accredited school and be board-eligible to take the California Pharmacist examination

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree from ACPE-accredited school and board-eligible to take the California Pharmacist examination prior to start date.
• Must successfully pass said exam within 2 testing cycles.
• Intern Pharmacist License (California) required.

• Experience: N/A
• Education: Pharmacy degree from an ACPE-accredited school of Pharmacy and be board-eligible to take the California Pharmacist examination prior to start date. Must successfully pass said exam within 2 (two) testing cycles.
• License, Certification, Registration: Intern Pharmacist License (California)

• Ability to learn and operate pharmacy computer system(s) and other equipment.
• Must be able to input/generate prescription labels.
• Knowledge of Federal/State laws, regulations, and standards regarding the provision of pharmaceutical services.
• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• MUST BE ABLE TO PASS BACKGROUND CHECK.
• Must be able to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
• The position of a Graduate Intern is limited to one year (12 consecutive months).
