Job summary

Mipac has opened a new office in Tucson, Arizona, and seeks a Graduate Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to join the team. You will work with engineers across North America and Australia on mining, minerals processing, and heavy industry projects, gaining hands-on experience from day one.

You will contribute to design, testing, commissioning, and site delivery, with mentoring from senior engineers and exposure to a range of automation platforms and technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechatronics, or instrumentation & control engineering.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
• Ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist design and implementation of instrumentation & control systems for mining and industrial projects.
• Support development of engineering documents: P&IDs, datasheets, I/O lists, loop diagrams, and control narratives.
• Participate in FAT, SAT, and commissioning activities with project teams.
• Assist with PLC, DCS, and SCADA development and testing.
