Job summary

Black & Veatch Corporation is seeking a Graduate Engineer for Instrument and Controls – Water in Raleigh. This entry-level role focuses on applying basic engineering principles under supervision, contributing to P&IDs, reports, and specifications for diverse water projects.

You will work within the EDS group, coordinate with project teams, and develop a broader understanding of client needs while gaining hands-on experience across sectors such as water treatment and power.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program.
• Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (background check, drug screen, MVR search).
• Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Function in an engineer capacity under close supervision.
• Prepare engineering deliverables such as P&IDs, reports, and engineering specifications.
• Conduct routine research and analysis to develop instrumentation recommendations and equipment selections.
• Adhere to scope, schedule, budget, and the Black & Veatch quality program.
