Qualifications

• BA or BS in Geology.
• Current C Class US State Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Prepare diamond drill core for geologists and the assay laboratory, including marking up blue lines, orientation marks, sampling, photographing and collecting RQD data.
• Log core, undertake Geotechnical work and report to respective department geologists.
• Work safely around diamond drilling support activities and with drill personnel on surface and underground.
• Collaborate with underground mine geologists to ensure safe and accurate data collection for geological activities, including face mapping and sampling.
• Follow NSR STARR guidelines and Pogo Geology safety procedures, particularly around wildlife.
• Complete an onsite MSHA course training program and stay current in compliance.
