Optiver Holding BV is seeking a Graduate FPGA Engineer for a 2027 start in Chicago. You will work alongside traders, software and infrastructure teams to develop nanosecond‑level, highly parallel hardware and network interfaces that power a global trading firm.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in digital design with FPGAs or ASICs.
• Experience writing hardware in VHDL, Verilog, or SystemVerilog.

Responsibilities

• Accelerate network infrastructure and trading system components with high-speed hardware designs.
• Research new low-latency techniques and platforms for integration with the trading system.
• Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team of traders, software developers, and infrastructure engineers.
• Leverage in-house or best available hardware to ensure FPGA interfaces with cutting-edge server hardware.
