Job summary

Marshall University invites applications for a Graduate Teaching Assistantship in the English Department. The GA will teach undergraduate courses or labs in English Composition, work in the Writing Center, and fulfill university teaching duties under supervision. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Experience preferred in teaching or related roles.

Responsibilities

• Teach in Writing Center as assigned, performing duties of university teaching.
• Teach three-hour English Composition classes, post and hold office hours, and follow course and university policies.
• Attend required training, workshops, and orientations.
• Meet with supervisors and maintain satisfactory academic progress.
• Work with a designated teacher-mentor.
