Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC seeks a NEW GRADUATE ENGINEER, ELECTRICAL for STARLINK initiatives at the Bastrop site. You will contribute to world-scale satellite hardware development, from board design to system-level verification, with emphasis on mixed-signal circuits and test automation.

The role requires a degree in a STEM field and graduating in 2026 or 2027, plus hands-on experience with Python/C++ and relevant test equipment. On-site work at Bastrop, TX is expected.

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical/computer engineering or STEM field.
• Graduating in 2026 or 2027.
• Experience designing/analysing circuits or hardware (internships/co-ops ok).

Responsibilities

• Drive system trades, requirements capture, component selection, analysis, schematic capture, PCB layout, prototyping.
• Drive hardware bring-up, debugging, documentation, manufacturing, and test of complex electronics
• Create simulation models of hardware to evaluate performance
• Contribute towards pre-silicon verification, chip bring-up and post-silicon validation
• Write automation software in python to interact with units under test, test equipment, instrumentation, and documentation systems
• Provide engineering support for the design, operation, improvement, and troubleshooting of facility electrical components and systems
• Challenge assumptions and work to find simple solutions to complex problems
