Job summary

Highmark Health invites applicants for the Summer 2027 Predictive Modeling & Data Science Graduate Internship. The program gives graduate students hands‑on experience in analytics, data science, and ML to support business decisions and strategic initiatives.

Interns will work with experienced data scientists, analysts, and business partners to design, develop, and evaluate analytical solutions, gain end‑to‑end analytics lifecycle exposure, and learn to translate findings into actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Pursuance of a graduate degree full or part‑time in an accredited college or university.
• Pursuing a graduate degree in Data Science, Statistics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field.
• Coursework or project experience involving predictive modeling, machine learning, statistical analysis, or advanced analytics.
• Experience with large or complex datasets through academic research, internships, or graduate coursework.
• Familiarity with programming and analytical tools used in data science.

• Under supervision, provide professional services for day‑to‑day objectives.
