Highmark Health invites graduates and students to join the Summer 2027 Predictive Modeling & Data Science Graduate Internship. It provides hands-on experience in analytics, data science, and ML to support business decisions. The program covers end‑to‑end analytics, from question framing to delivery, with mentorship and cross‑functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress in a quantitative field.
• Pursuing a graduate degree in data science, statistics, analytics, mathematics, CS, or related discipline.
• Coursework or research involving predictive modeling or ML.
• Experience with large/complex datasets from research, internships, or coursework.
• Familiarity with programming and analytical tools for data science.
• Experience with data preparation, EDA, feature engineering, model evaluation.
• Ability to visualize data and present findings to diverse audiences.
• Knowledge of ML concepts and predictive analytics methodologies.
• Ability to translate business questions into analytical approaches.

Responsibilities

• Conduct exploratory and statistical analysis for business questions.
• Support predictive model development and evaluation.
• Prepare and transform data for modeling tasks.
• Create data visualizations and present findings to stakeholders.
