North Park University, a member of the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin, is accepting applications for the position of Men’s and Women’s Golf Graduate Assistant Coach. The assistantship will begin in August 2025 and includes tuition remission, a partial meal plan, and a $3,000 stipend per semester.

North Park University is a Christian university affiliated with the Evangelical Covenant Church and serves over 3,200 students.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assists the head coach with the daily operations of the men’s and women’s golf programs at North Park University.
- Assists with all phases of competitive NCAA and CCIW compliant recruiting.
- Ensures a commitment to the academic success of golf student‑athletes, including monitoring academic performance, attendance, and social behavior.
- Builds and sustains positive relationships with student‑athletes, parents, alumni, faculty, staff, and the campus community.
- Manages equipment usage.
- Performs other administrative and clerical duties as assigned by the Head Coach, Assistant Vice President for Athletics, and Associate and Assistant Athletic Directors.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree is required.
- Playing experience is not required, but general golf knowledge is desired.
- Must obtain acceptance in a North Park University graduate program.
- Must be able to work an untraditional work schedule (frequent nights and weekends).
- Must be able to lift and move athletic equipment.
- Must be able to travel with the team by vehicle or plane.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
- Must possess a clear understanding and personal commitment to North Park’s mission of Christian higher education.
