Job summary

UNC Greensboro is seeking a Graduate Assistant for Competitive Sports to provide guidance and leadership for all Competitive Sports Student Staff. The role includes assisting with the Intramural Sports Program and executing Club Sports events. Candidates must be enrolled full-time in a graduate program and maintain a GPA of at least 3.0. The Graduate Assistant will develop skills in leadership, risk management, and program execution while supporting staff schedules and training initiatives.

Qualifications

• Maintain academic good standing with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Be enrolled in at least 9 credits of graduate study.
• Manage staff schedules and payroll for competitive sports student staff.
• Assist in the execution of intramural sports and club sports events.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and leadership for Competitive Sports Student Staff.
• Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the Intramural Sports Program.
• Chair sport-specific committees for training of Competitive Sports Officials.
• Conduct data entry and prepare materials for sports events.
