Job summary

University of Southern California's Sol Price School of Public Policy seeks a working professional or academic with significant experience in nonprofit leadership and management, boards and governance, philanthropy, development, or related fields. Possession of a master’s or doctoral degree is required; teaching experience is preferred.

The adjunct will teach PPD 675: Nonprofit Leadership and Management (4 units) at a graduate level.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or doctorate in a relevant field.
• Experience in nonprofit leadership, boards/governance, philanthropy, development or related field.
• Preference given to candidates with teaching experience and strong teaching evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver course content for PPD 675: Nonprofit Leadership and Management (4 units).
• Schedule office hours and be accessible to students as appropriate.
• Grade assignments and provide feedback.
• Provide students with a syllabus outlining goals, schedule and requirements under the Department Chair.
