Job summary

If hired without a Teacher Education Program, you have up to 3 years to obtain a Hawaii teaching license and must enroll in a program aligned with your hiring line, while actively pursuing licensure each year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required for teacher, librarian or counselor positions.
• If hired without a Teacher Education Program, you have up to 3 years to obtain a Hawaii teaching license.
• You must enroll in a program to continue employment and demonstrate active pursuit toward licensing each year.
• Upon hire you will need a valid Hawaii teaching license or Emergency Hire Permit.
