Job summary

Ridgewood Public Schools seeks an Elementary Teacher for Somerville Elementary School to fill a Grade 5 Social Studies/Science leave-of-absence replacement. The selected candidate will teach assigned students in alignment with district goals and curriculum objectives.

The ideal candidate will hold New Jersey Elementary Teacher Certification, differentiate instruction, integrate technology, and communicate effectively with staff, parents, and administrators.

Qualifications

• New Jersey Elementary Teacher Certification required.
• Must demonstrate knowledge of upper grade mathematics.
• Must demonstrate ability to differentiate instruction.
• Must have ability to use technology to enhance learning and assess students.
• Must be able to effectively communicate with teachers, parents, and administrators both verbally and in writing.
• Must be able to work collaboratively and maintain harmonious relationships with students, colleagues, and parent(s).
