Job summary

Fort Wayne Community Schools is seeking a Grade 4 teacher for Brentwood Elementary for the 2026-2027 school year. You will provide instruction aligned with district and state standards, developing lesson plans and assessing student progress.

Work hours are 7:45am to 3:45pm with benefits including health insurance, pensions, and paid time off. Must hold Indiana teaching credentials or be eligible for REPA licensure.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Indiana teaching license for the assigned grade levels or be eligible to obtain an alternative credential.
• REPA/REPA 3 licensure options are acceptable for elementary generalist roles.
• Knowledge of district, state, and federal guidance for lesson planning and instruction.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional services to educate all students to high standards.
• Follow the FWCS schedule: school year with 7:45am–3:45pm work hours.
• Adhere to district requirements and maintain professional relations with staff.
