Job summary

Grand Island Central School District is seeking a Short Term Substitute Elementary Teacher - Grade 3 for Kaegebein Elementary, 8:35 AM to 3:35 PM. Start date December 3, 2026. Per diem $170 with retroactive increase after 40 days per a collective bargaining agreement.

Minimum qualifications include NYS Certification 1-6 and/or Pre-K-6, experience with Magnetic Reading, Ready Math and iReady, and ability to collaborate with a co-teacher and grade-level team.

Qualifications

• NYS Certification Childhood Education 1-6 and/or Pre-K-6.
• Experience with Magnetic Reading, Ready Math and the iReady interface.
• Ability to cooperate and collaborate with co-teacher, grade level team and special area teachers.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom instruction within an integrated co-teaching setting.
• Create and design lessons aligned to district curriculum and the NYS Next Gen Standards.
