• Creates safe, supportive learning environments for individual and small-group instruction.
• Develops lesson plans and instructional materials to maximize instructional time.
• Assesses student learning and adapts instruction to meet needs.
• Instructs on citizenship and district policies.
• Maintains accurate records of grades and attendance.
• Encourages parental involvement and communicates progress to families.
• Supervises students during activities outside the classroom.
• Administers standardized tests per district programs.
