Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Texas State Teaching Certification preferred or required.
• Safe Haven child abuse awareness training.
• Current Catechist Certificate or working towards one.
• Ability to teach both face-to-face and remote online.
• Pass criminal background check clearance.

Responsibilities

• Implement Archdiocesan approved curriculum and document student progress/activities/outcomes.
• Address educational needs of individual students and create a flexible, safe, optimal learning environment.
• Provide feedback to students, parents and administration regarding progress, expectations and goals.
• Maintain records of student learning and performance.
• Maintain classroom order and behavioral management for safety.
• Oversee non-instructional duties (lunch, carpool) and assist with morning/afternoon duties.
