Qualifications

• Ignite positions require Gifted Education Boot Camp completed within first year.

• Plans a program of study following district guidelines and student needs.
• Implements research-based teaching strategies to engage all students.
• Creates a learning environment with effective communication and feedback.
• Implements current district curriculum and grade-level material.
• Sets objectives and guides learning toward curriculum mastery.
• Participates in school improvement plans and district strategies.
• Collaborates with colleagues, students and parents regularly.
• Uses formative and summative assessments to drive instruction.
• Maintains records as required by law and district policy.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
