Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a System Software Engineer in the Developer Tools group to build performance analysis capabilities for Nsight tools and foundational libraries that support next‑gen accelerated computing. You will collaborate with hardware architecture to co-design software for distributed environments and work across multiple layers of NVIDIA technology.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in EE/CS or equivalent experience.
5+ years of software engineering experience or MS with 2+ years.
Strong C/C++ and Python programming.
Experience with low-level assembly and hardware pipelines.
Experience with performance analysis on accelerators.
Experience with simulators and emulators.
Good problem-solving and teamwork skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain GPU performance libraries for Nsight tools with focus on hardware events and counters.
Develop and implement GPU assembly tests.
Build and maintain a test validation framework using CUDA and GPU Assembly.
Utilize emulators to debug and verify instruction events.
Document tools use cases and data processing workflows for architectural explorations.
