Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Solutions Architect for High-Performance Databases to research and GPU-accelerate database, ETL and analytics workloads on modern architectures. You will work with experts across research, hardware, software, and tools to optimize data-intensive workloads and influence future hardware and programming models.

Base salary ranges are 184,000 USD - 287,500 USD for Level 4 and 224,000 USD - 356,500 USD for Level 5, with equity and benefits.

Qualifications

Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related computationally focused science degree or equivalent experience.
8+ years of experience.
Programming fluency in C/C++ with a deep understanding of algorithms and software design.
Hands-on experience with low-level parallel programming CUDA (preferred), OpenACC, OpenMP, MPI, pthreads, TBB.
In-depth expertise with CPU/GPU architecture fundamentals, especially memory subsystem.
Domain expertise in high performance databases, ETL, data analytics and/or vector database.
Strong communication and organization skills, with a logical approach to problem solving.

Responsibilities

Research and develop techniques to GPU-accelerate high performance database, ETL and data analytics applications.
Work with technical experts to analyse and optimise complex data-intensive workloads for best performance on GPUs.
Influence the design of next-generation hardware architectures, software, and programming models across NVIDIA teams.
Influence industry and academia to push data processing using NVIDIA products.
