Job summary

OpenAI is seeking a Technical Program Manager for the GPT Infrastructure teams to lead delivery of external compute capacity that directly serves OpenAI model workloads.

You will own cross-functional programs spanning engineering, capacity planning, networking, hardware, finance, product, and external partners to ensure capacity translates into production throughput, with high-visibility impact on training and inference globally.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery programs that convert third-party infrastructure into production-ready token capacity.
• Own readiness across compute, storage, networking, security, and operational dependencies for external environments.
• Build integrated plans across internal teams and external partners with milestones, owners, risks, and critical paths.
• Drive launch execution for new partner regions, clusters, and capacity expansions.
• Establish executive-level reporting on delivery status, risks, and token ramp forecasts.
