University Veterinary Hospital in Shreveport, LA is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join a team delivering general and specialty care with advanced surgical and dental capabilities. Founded in 2009 and AAHA-accredited, UVH offers mentorship and a supportive environment for growth.

You’ll work alongside our board-certified dermatologist and have in-house access to oncology, orthopedics, and rehab referrals, with integrative options like stem cell therapy and acupuncture.

Qualifications

• Open to any experience level; new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• General practice with a surgical toolkit including advanced procedures such as laparoscopic spay/neuter and endoscopy.
• Active orthopedics on-site with specialty support and imaging.
• Advanced dentistry with full-mouth radiographs as standard.
• Collaborate with a board-certified dermatologist and in-house referrals to oncology, orthopedics and rehab.
• Integrative options available (stem cell therapy, acupuncture, cold laser, cancer vaccine).
• Fear Free Certified, Cat Friendly Practice, Monday–Friday 7am–6pm; mentorship and growth support.
