At Trescobeas Surgery, were a well-established, patient-focused GP partnershipserving around 10,700 patients (with a dispensing branch) and fully integratedwithin our local Primary Care Network. We are looking for a committed andenthusiastic GP to join our team for six sessions per week, with a genuine viewto partnership.

a.Thedelivery of highly effective medical care to the entitled population
b.Theprovision of services commensurate with the GP contract
c.Clinicallyexamine and assess patient needs from a physiological and psychologicalperspective and plan clinical care accordingly referring patients to otherservices/agencies in a timely manner, utilising practice and any other localguidelines
d.Genericprescribing adhering to local and national guidance
e.Prioritisehealth problems and intervene appropriately to assist the patient in complex,urgent or emergency situations, including initiation of effective emergencycare
f.Effectivemanagement of long-term conditions
g.Supportpatients to adopt health promotion strategies that promote healthy lifestylesand apply principles of self-care
h.Processadministration in a timely manner including referrals, repeat prescriptionrequests and other associated administrative tasks

ll.Attenda formal appraisal at least every 12 months. Once a performance/trainingobjective has been set, progress will be reviewed on a regular basis so thatnew objectives can be agreed
mm. Contribute to publichealth campaigns (e.g., flu clinics) through advice or direct care
