Job summary

Palantir is seeking a Compliance Engineer based in New York City to assist in implementing security controls across its product line. This role involves interpreting US Government regulations and working with teams to ensure compliance standards are met.

The ideal candidate will have more than 3 years of compliance experience, particularly related to US Government standards like FedRAMP. You'll also need a deep understanding of cloud security and experience with distributed applications.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience with compliance and at least 2 years related to US Government compliance.
• Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure and security concepts.
• Hands-on experience in executing against recurring operational regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Implement US Government compliance including FedRAMP and continuous monitoring.
• Support partnerships with various government agencies.
• Partner with engineers to map compliance requirements to product implementation.
• Build automation for procedural compliance controls.

Skills

Compliance experience (PCI, SOC2, HIPAA)

Cloud infrastructure knowledge

Experience with distributed applications (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Familiarity with security controls (Terraform, Puppet)

Communication of compliance requirements

Proficiency with security concepts

Operational regulatory requirements

Attention to detail

Willingness to obtain a U.S. security clearance
