Qualifications

• 8-10 years of public accounting experience or relevant internship experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required and CPA license is active.
• Interest in governmental accounting and assurance services; desire to work with local governments and community organizations.
• Strong community involvement and commitment to Louisiana businesses and organizations.
• Ability to work independently on challenging projects and see tasks through to completion.

Responsibilities

• Lead Governmental Audit and Assurance Engagements, planning and overseeing engagements to ensure compliance and quality.
• Oversee engagement execution, review workpapers and deliverables, and manage risks.
• Develop and maintain client relationships; act as a trusted advisor throughout engagements.
• Supervise, coach, and mentor staff and senior associates; foster team development.
• Support practice growth through networking, proposals, and local community involvement.
