Job summary

Collins Aerospace is offering a software internship in Anaheim, CA, focusing on architecture, design, development, and integration of government-communications software. You will work with cross-disciplinary teams to solve technical problems and assist field deployments after clearance is obtained.

Applicants must be pursuing a STEM degree and have C++ on Linux, plus Python or Bash scripting; U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a security clearance (TS/SCI with polygraph after day one)

Qualifications

• Must be actively pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree in a STEM field and remain enrolled through the internship.
• Software development experience including C++ in Linux and a scripting language such as Python or Bash.
• Must have object-oriented design and development experience.
• Must be a U.S. citizen able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance; an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required after day one.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the architecture, design, development, integration, testing, and delivery of software applications for advanced U.S. Government communications systems.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to solve technical problems and, after obtaining the required clearance, support field deployments by configuring and verifying systems.
