Job Overview

The Washington, DC office of Perkins Coie LLP, an AMLAW 50 firm, is seeking an experienced attorney to join our nationally-ranked Government Contracts team in the Regulatory Compliance & Disputes practice subgroup. Our practice is consistently recognized as among the best in the nation by Chambers USA. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned attorney to join a collaborative and well-rounded team. The attorney will play a lead role in handling sophisticated and high-profile matters, including bid protests.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have 10+ years of government contracts experience in the federal government, private practice, and/or industry, to include the following:

  • Significant experience handling bid protest matters before the U.S. Court of Federal Claims and the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) as lead attorney.
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of the FAR and DFARS, and regulatory compliance counseling expertise.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage projects and litigation, supervise attorneys, and develop client relationships.
  • Experience with False Claims Act investigations, cybersecurity, mandatory disclosures, suspension and debarment, and prime-sub negotiations and disputes,
  • Other highly relevant areas of experience include GSA Schedules, intellectual property rights, M&A diligence, claims and disputes, trade controls, and grants.
  • Prior clerkship at the U.S. Court of Federal Claims is a plus.

Compensation
