A business law firm serving government contractors and large and small private sector commercial clients is expanding its nationally recognized Government Contracts Group and is seeking an associate with 6-10 years of government contracts experience handling complex federal procurement and contract disputes.
This role offers the opportunity to represent contractors of all sizes in high-stakes matters involving REAs, certified claims, terminations, contract administration disputes, and litigation before the Civilian Board of Contract Appeals (CBCA) and the Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals (ASBCA), , and U.S. Court of Federal Claims.
The ideal candidate will have experience advising federal contractors throughout the dispute lifecycle, from contract performance issues and equitable adjustments through litigation and appeal. Candidates should be comfortable managing matters independently while collaborating closely with a sophisticated and growing team.
Applicants will preferably be admitted to practice in -- or eligible for prompt admission into -- the District of Columbia Bar. This is a full-time, hybrid position located in Washington, D.C. (exceptional applicants outside of the immediate area may be considered).
