We advise a diverse range of clients, including contractors, subcontractors, and other businesses navigating the complex legal landscape of federal, state, and local government contracts. Our team is dedicated to providing strategic, solution-oriented counsel to help our clients succeed in highly regulated environments.

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced attorney with 5-7 years of expertise in government contracting and procurement law. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of federal acquisition regulations (FAR), government bid processes, and compliance issues. Litigation or dispute resolution experience related to government contracts is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise clients on all aspects of government contracting, including bid preparation, compliance, and performance issues.
  • Navigate clients through Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and other regulatory frameworks.
  • Draft and negotiate contracts, subcontracts, teaming agreements, and joint venture agreements.
  • Represent clients in bid protests, claims, and disputes before federal and state agencies, boards, and courts.
  • Provide counsel on compliance with small business programs, including SBA programs and set-asides.
  • Conduct training for clients on government contracting best practices and regulatory updates.
  • Assist with audits, investigations, and enforcement actions related to government contracts.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in good standing with the state bar
  • 5-7 years of experience in government contracting and procurement law.
  • Strong knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and related statutes and regulations.
  • Exceptional legal research, writing, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage complex cases and projects independently.
  • Strong client relationship skills and a collaborative mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience representing clients in bid protests before the GAO or other forums.
  • Background in federal, state, or local government procurement processes.
  • Litigation or administrative law experience related to government contracts.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity requirements for government contractors (e.g., CMMC compliance).
