• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess 1+ years of law enforcement experience, 2+ years of security-related supervisor/manager experience, or 3+ years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to facility staff, visitors, and other authorized individuals by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established facility protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to assigned areas, verify authorization as required, and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation in accordance with site procedures.

As a Government Center Security Officer - Unarmed in Charleston, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and communicate professionally with staff and visitors. What You'll Do:
