Job summary

Alignerr is seeking a Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) Analyst to help shape how AI systems understand and apply security, compliance, and risk in real-world scenarios.

You will review policies, controls, and risk assessments, contribute to AI training data, and leverage 2+ years of GRC experience in a fully remote, hourly contract with 10–40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in GRC, compliance or risk management.
• Familiar with one or more major frameworks - SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS or similar.
• Comfortable reading and interpreting security policies, audit reports and control documentation.
• Detail-oriented with precise structured written reasoning.

Now we're looking for experienced GRC professionals to help us teach AI how security, compliance and risk management actually work in the real world. What You'll Do

• Review and analyze security policies, controls and procedures for accuracy and completeness

Who You Are

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in GRC, compliance or risk management

• Comfortable reading and interpreting security policies, audit reports and control documentation
• Detail-oriented with precise structured written reasoning
• Self-motivated and able to work independently on asynchronous tasks

Nice to Have

• Experience with data annotation, data labeling or AI evaluation workflows
• Background in information security, IT audit or third-party risk management
• Certifications such as CISA, CRISC, CISSP or CISM
