Job summary

EDB is building the next generation of AI agent infrastructure on top of Postgres and seeks an experienced ML Engineer to own the ML infrastructure for governance models. You will handle serving, evaluation, red-teaming, and continuous improvement, delivering low-latency inference and robust model registries.

Responsibilities include enabling <50ms inference through quantization/distillation, drift monitoring, shadow deployment, and auto-retraining loops. You will work in a security-conscious, audited environment and collaborate across teams.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of professional ML software engineering experience.
• Experience with low-latency ML serving and model quantization/distillation.
• Experience with evaluation pipelines and model registries.
• Familiarity with red-team/adversarial testing and CI-gated regression.
• Drift monitoring and shadow deployment experience.
• Fluency with SQL and PostgreSQL; security in audited environments.

Responsibilities

• Own ML infrastructure spanning serving, evaluation, red-teaming, and continuous improvement for governance models.
• Deliver <50ms inference via quantization/distillation and active drift monitoring.
• Develop auto-retraining loops using production telemetry and audit data.
• Collaborate with security and governance teams to ensure enterprise-grade reliability.
