Amazon Leo Government is hiring a System Development Engineer III to define satcom data engineering and customer operational health. You will build resilient, scalable systems and drive automation to reduce repetitive work while leveraging Amazon AI.

A TS/SCI eligibility is required for security clearance and you will mentor engineers across teams. The role emphasizes architecture reviews, operational excellence, and collaboration with engineers, TPMs, and team leaders to align technical

Formación

• Experience leading design, automation, deployment and support of large-scale infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, or Rust.
• Experience with Linux/Unix and CI/CD build processes.
• Experience with data analytics platforms or advanced SQL for BI.

Responsabilidades

• Design technology solutions and architectures to solve complex problems.
• Define engineering best practices and conduct architecture and readiness reviews.
• Identify automation opportunities to reduce cost and improve resiliency.
• Partner with teams to develop technical strategy and investment plans.
• Mentor engineers and produce runbooks, documentation, and dashboards.
