Job summary

Woodlands Market in Marin and San Francisco is seeking a Grocery Receiver Superstar to ensure timely receipt of products and non-products. You will document receipts using handheld tools, assist Buyers and Managers, and maintain organized, efficient back-room operations across multiple departments in a fast-paced store.

Responsibilities include inspecting inbound goods for quality and temperature, recording invoices, and supporting a smooth ordering/receiving process.

Qualifications

• Must be detail oriented and have excellent follow through.
• Must be comfortable in a fast paced environment with high volume demands.
• Ability to work in interdependent workflow where each step relies on others.
• Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Receive product orders using handheld system tools, fax, and printer.
• Inspect delivered goods for quality, quantity, and temperature.
• Record and organize invoices; maintain receiving area.
• Move freight from receiving to staging areas and storage rooms.
• Maintain an organized, clean back-room and ensure product rotation.
