Job summary

The Texas Democratic Party is seeking GOTV Organizers to join the Texas Together 2026 Coordinated Campaign, supporting Talarico for Texas and Democratic candidates. Organizers will build the volunteer and voter contact infrastructure to translate energy into high turnout across Texas.

Role begins the week of August 24, 2026 and runs through November 15, 2026. The position is full-time, non-exempt, with a starting pay of $5,000 per month and overtime possible as the campaign scales, plus health,

Qualifications

• No formal education requirements.
• Strong planning and time-management skills.
• Experience coordinating events and volunteers.
• Access to a reliable car and driver's license.
• Proficient with Google Suite and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Organize and lead 2+ voter contact events weekly.
• Recruit and develop volunteer teams.
• Develop volunteer leadership and support teams.
• Represent the campaign to activists, supporters, volunteers, and voters.
• Manage voter contact systems in Mobilize and VAN, ensure data integrity.
• Build GOTV infrastructure including staging locations.
• Execute GOTV operations and troubleshoot to keep programs on track.
• Report results regularly and accurately with increased frequency during GOTV.
• Learn and grow as an organizer.
