Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a GOS Client Accountant in Frisco, TX to perform full cycle accounting for a high-volume portfolio. You will analyze accounts, manage cash flow, AP/AR, accruals, and reconciliations, and prepare client reports under internal controls.

The role requires a college degree in finance or accounting with 1–3 years of relevant experience and proficiency in Yardi and Excel; strong data analytics and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• College degree in Finance or Accounting preferred.
• Requires 1–3 years of experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Experience with Yardi or other real estate accounting software preferred; strong Excel and data analytics skills required.

Responsibilities

• Perform full cycle accounting including analysis of accounts and transactions.
• Prepare financial reporting packages timely and in accordance with internal controls and client requirements.
• Research and analyze using data management tools and spreadsheets; communicate issues clearly.
• Collaborate with clients, operations teams, and corporate stakeholders in a timely manner.
• Apply procedures for preparation of accounting records, research of transactions, and reporting.
• Support internal and external audits with documentation and information as requested.

Essential Job Duties:

• Perform Full Cycle Accounting to include analysis of accounts or accounting transactions. Prepare and assist with cash management, AP and AR, Accruals and reconciliations. Prioritize and maintain organization of a high-volume workload.
• Prepare financial reporting packages timely and accurately in accordance with internal controls and client requirements; Includes prioritizing and maintaining high volume workload and productivity standards
• Research and analyze using data management tools and spreadsheets. Effectively communicate accounting issues and escal appropriately.
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with clients, operation teams and corporate stakeholders in a timely manner.
• Apply appropriate procedures for preparation of accounting records, research of transactions, and reporting
• Apply the financial policies and procedures of the company and bring inconsistencies, problems, and recommendations to the attention of management
• Comply and assist with internal and external audits by providing appropriate documentation and information as requested
• Performs other related duties as required or requested.

Education/Experience/Training:

College degree in Finance or Accounting preferred

Requires one to three of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

Specialized Knowledge/Skills – Experience with Yardi or other real estate accounting software preferred, Strong Excel and data analytic skills required.

The compensation for the position is: $ 57,800.00 - $68,000.00
