Job summary

Peraton is seeking an experienced Google Cloud Platform Engineer to support a Federal Government customer. The role will onboard and configure the customer’s GCP landing zone, mirroring the level of infrastructure support currently provided for AWS GovCloud and Microsoft Azure.

Responsibilities include cloud project provisioning, automation scripting, monitoring, patching support, and incident ticket resolution with on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• 5 years with BS/BA or 9 years with a HS Diploma/equivalent.
• 5 years experience in Google Cloud Platform in an enterprise setting.
• GCP organizations, IAM, security policy and platform observability practices.
• Development and automation skills such as Git, Python, CICD, Ansible etc.
• GCP Cloud Engineer certification or equivalent.
• ServiceNow or similar ticketing system experience.
• Must be a US Citizen
• Must be able to obtain and maintain the required agency clearance.

Target Salary Range

$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
