Job summary

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE TECHNOLOGIES LLC in Dallas, TX is seeking a senior backend/cloud engineer for a 24-month contract with extension potential. The role focuses on scalable, event-driven integrations and cloud-native design.

You will implement APIs, manage distributed systems, and build with Python/Node.js/Java in a Google Cloud environment using Cloud Run, GKE, Pub/Sub, and Terraform. Strong emphasis on observability, DR, and multi-region resilience is required.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years in backend/integration development or cloud engineering.
• Deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform, especially:
• Strong background in distributed systems, API design, and message-driven architectures.
• Proficiency in Python, Node.js, or Java.
• Familiarity with warehouse and ERP integration patterns (e.g., order orchestration, ASN, inventory sync).

Responsibilities

• Implement UIL using Cloud Run and GKE hybrid deployment models for scalable, event-driven integration.
• Implement event-driven workflows leveraging Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, and containerized microservices.
• Establish and enforce API standards, error-handling conventions, and integration patterns across distributed systems.
• Implement and maintain observability pipelines with Cloud Logging, BigQuery, and Cloud Monitoring for auditability and performance analytics.
• Build and optimize DR and cost-efficient architectures across multiple regions using Terraform and Cloud Deploy.
• Continuously evaluate and improve system reliability, scalability, and performance.
