Qualifications

• Arizona Standard Professional Teaching Certificate with a Science endorsement.
• IVP Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field (required).
• Prior experience teaching middle or high school students (preferred).
• Passion for using technology to support diverse learners.
• Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Collaborative mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and virtual learning tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging virtual instruction.
• Lead core science classes and provide feedback.
• Maintain communication with students and families via phone, email, and messaging.
• Offer daily office hours to support learning.
• Grade assignments within 24–48 hours with feedback.
• Manage online discussions and course announcements.
• Track student progress and parent communications.
• Support IEP and 504 compliance.
• Participate in team meetings and professional development.
• Support clubs and electives on Fridays.
