Job summary

Arc Experience, serving Southern California, is seeking a Program Leader to guide students after school with homework help, enrichment activities, and joyful learning experiences. You will lead activities, develop clubs, and ensure a safe, supportive environment for diverse learners.

Qualified candidates have at least one year in after-school programs, 48+ college credits or proficiency, and are strong communicators. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in after-school programs or youth recreation, especially in ethnically and culturally diverse communities.
• College transcripts showing you have 48+ college credit units completed OR take and pass an academic proficiency exam.
• TB test and negative result, and a Live Scan background check.
• English-Spanish bilingual ability is a plus for the resume.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome kids to the program at the end of their school day.
• Organize and lead activities, including homework help, recreation games, arts and crafts, and educational projects.
• Join in indoor and outdoor enrichment activities.
• Create unique clubs for students across interests such as career readiness, cooking, anime, and dance.
• Maintain a secure environment by following safety protocols and monitoring student behavior.
