Job summary

Compensation Range

All internship opportunities at GOLFTEC are paid an hourly rate dependent upon job duties, experience level, and location.

• $18.00-$24.00/hour

Internship Location

Internship opportunities are open at GOLFTEC Centers nationwide, dependent upon Center needs and availability.

Internship Length

• GOLFTEC offers internships that are 3, 6, and 12 months in duration.

Key Responsibilities

Selected internship candidates will function as a team member at one of GOLFTEC’s Training Centers. While working in a GOLFTEC Center, intern responsibilities may include:

• See how GOLFTEC manages student relationships
• Learn how a center manages the schedule book
• Shadow lessons and club fittings from a PGA Director of Instruction and the other Certified Personal Coaches in the center.

The ideal candidate for an internship will have a passion for golf and helping others develop their game. A customer-oriented approach as well as a friendly easy-going personality are essential. If you are eager to be part of a team of coaches and to learn about professional coaching and club fitting the GOLFTEC internship program is a great opportunity for you.

It is highly preferred that prospective interns be currently enrolled in a PGM Program at a PGA Participating University.

• Opportunity to work with award winning coaches and nationally recognized instructors
• Performs weekly mock lessons and club fittings with the PGA Director of Instruction
• Shadow weekly lessons & club fittings given to GOLFTEC Students
• Handle all incoming calls from customers and informs them of all GOLFTEC services offered
• Scheduling & adjusting lessons, practice sessions, and club fitting times
• Greets all visitors and serves as a valuable resource in answering questions
• Follows up with customer requests to assure satisfaction and to solve issues
• Perform daily opening & closing functions for the Training Center, including preparing the GOLFTEC teaching system for use
• Maintains the GOLFTEC Training Center environment, equipment, and technology
• Keeps a safe and clean Center by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
