Job summary

Recreation Centers of Sun City, Inc. is seeking a Golf Shop Associate to perform day-to-day duties in the Golf Shop. You will greet customers, check in players, assign tee times, and operate the daily POS system to complete sales.

Typical hours are Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday 5:00am-11:30am, with a Sunday 11:30am-5:30pm shift, and pay rate of $15.25 per hour. Benefits include golf rounds, range balls, bowling, 401(k) with company match, and more.

Qualifications

• MUST know the game of golf.
• Prior experience using computers and cash register systems.
• Prior experience handling money.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes Golf Shop for daily business, as scheduled.
• Greets all customers as they enter the Golf Shop.
• Checks in all players.
• Assigns tee times and announces groups to tees in accordance with policy and procedure.
• Operates daily point of sale system in accordance with procedures.
• Sells and processes all merchandise transfers.
• Assists with all merchandising and displays.
• Maintains the cleanliness of the Golf Shop including picking up, dusting, and cleaning.
• Directs all issues, problems, complaints, and safety matters, which cannot be resolved to the Head Starter.
• Initiates and completes reports for any incident/accident that occurs during work shift.
• Prepares all closing paperwork including but not limited to bank deposits, end of shift reports, and point of sale reports required to complete all sales transactions for that day’s business.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
