• Collect green and cart fees and process POS transactions.
• Issue receipts for guest purchases.
• Take messages for staff or guests.
• Assist in packing/unpacking inventory and golf operations supplies.
• Assist in cash reconciliation at close.
• Perform close procedures and other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Overview

We're hiring a Part Time Golf Shop Attendant for The Golf Club at Moffett Field. This role is suited for candidates with a passion for customer service and working with people, offering first-hand experience serving guests and supporting golf shop operations. Golf Shop Attendants offer friendly and expedient service to guests and assist the golf professional staff with golf shop operations, merchandise sales, and other golf-related activities. Knowledge of golf is preferred, but previous Golf Shop Attendant experience is not required. Ideal candidates have flexible schedules with availability to work weekends, holidays, and during golf season, as needed.

Experience Required

• Must be highly motivated, goal driven and a self-starter.
• Must acquire basic computer knowledge.
• Must have strong customer/guest orientation.
• Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be dependable.
• Knowledge about the game of golf preferred.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 30 lbs occasionally.
• Availability to work extended hours during golf and holiday season.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays.

Essential Responsibilities

• Assist in reconciliation of cash and accounts receivable charges to the daily register at closing.
• Perform clean-up and closing procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
