Job summary

The Virginia State Golf Association is seeking a USGA P.J. Boatwright Intern for the upcoming golf season in Midlothian, VA. The role offers hands-on experience promoting golf events, programs, and member benefits while traveling Virginia to work with clubs and participants.

You will photograph clubs, cover tournaments, and create marketing materials. Applicants should be enrolled in college, own a car, and be adept with social media and creative tools; travel within the state is required.

Qualifications

• College student or graduate with interest in golf and promotions.
• Willingness to travel within Virginia to member clubs and events.
• Proficiency with social media platforms such as Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.

Responsibilities

• Visit VSGA member clubs to raise event and program awareness.
• Capture and share photos of VSGA member clubs for real-time promotion.
• Promote VSGA benefits and VIP Golf Card both in-person and online.
• Coordinate with member clubs to schedule on-course presence for promotions.
• Provide video coverage during tournaments.
• Post tournament updates on social media channels.
• Create marketing materials for print and digital platforms.
• Photograph Association tournaments/events as needed.
• Assist staff with Hubspot CRM and marketing automation tools.
